BENEFIT: flexible, comparable in weight to an aluminum shoe of same size, like a sneaker, healthy for horse’s hoof, easy to shape with rasp & file; can be glued on, used with screws, pads and screw-in studs, material does not limit the expansion of the foot like steel/aluminum; flexibility encourages natural expansion of hoof and no snowballing effect; increases blood flow; pliable enough to absorb the impact/strong enough to wear longer than a steel shoe.

BENEFIT: better surface contact, traction in mud, wet grass, snow and ice. Build up of snow/ice is similar to a barefooted horse.
